Canadian Elevator Contractors Association is an association within the elevator industry, which embraces the manufacturing, installation, alteration, repair and maintenance of mechanical conveying systems, apparatus, accessories and other equipment such as elevators, hoists, escalators, flying scaffolds, ski lifts, dumbwaiters, moveable stage platforms, rolling sidewalks, handicap lifts and other similar equipment generally used or usable for transporting persons, things, or materials.
NAEC is an association of elevator contractors and suppliers serving primarily the interests of independent elevator contractors and independent suppliers of products and services; promoting safe and reliable elevator, escalator and short-range transportation and promoting excellence in the management of member companies. I.U.E.C. Local 50 Our Mission at the International Union of Elevator Constructors is to procure and safeguard the inherent right of workers to organize that they may more securely work with dignity; to enable its members to participate actively in self-government; to unite into one International Union all workers eligible for membership, regardless of religion, race, creed, color, national origin, age, or sex.
